Mexican Bohemian West End Architectural Salvage Wedding | Drew and Gladys

This wedding was so  g o o d . Filled with all of my favorites from draping greenery, tacos, cat details + a new found love of horchata. When I was in high school just starting to get into photography, I would spend HOURS at West End Architectural Salvage walking up and down the aisles of each floor finding anything + everything to photograph, so I totally felt like a kid again photographing this wedding. Just saying… more people should have their wedding there. 😉

Drew + Gladys met in architecture school and share a love for eclectic style. I LOVED how they put so much of their character + eclectic taste into their day. The theme was Mexican Bohemian, playing off of creative, eclectic details + Gladys’ Mexican heritage. There was a taco truck for dinner, an endless amount of fun vintage items, chips + salsa. Seriously everywhere I looked there was something fun for me to take a picture of! Heavenly.

Everyone (bride, groom, bridal party, family, guests) was so genuine + kind! I can totally see where Gladys and Drew learned it from! I loved being around all of them for the day. I had more than one person ask if they could help carry my camera bag (even Drew, the star of the day who should’ve just been worried about getting married!). It was an honor to be invited into their day + meet all the people so special to them.

Congrats you guys! You threw one heck of a wedding!

With love,

Ali Leigh
