Taylor and I flew into Charleston yesterday + I knew one thing: I needed to see Rainbow Row in real life. 🙂 Rainbow Row was fantastic, but the neighborhood had so much more than colored houses. Courtyards with waterfalls, greenery + flowers growing from 9/10 walls + doorways, and such rich history. So many of the houses were built in the 1600s – before America was even a country! There’s something surreal about standing in places where so much history happened.
We walked up the coastline, under the picturesque “Carolina” trees, + on their cobblestone streets. Loved it. You need to add Charleston to your must-see cities list!
